What in the heck is going on with Al Jefferson? Do we need to bail on this ship?  In my league we are allowed 2 guys on our bench and we play 10. We can pick up and drop players anytime. There are 11 teams in the league.  Thanks Richard  11/22/05

Jefferson has great potential but seems like you have a thin bench.  He has not been performing at a level to justify keeping in your league so bailing is justified.  However be prepared for his potential breakout as Mark Blount has fallen out of favor.

Would you take Ike Diogu over Al Jefferson? If yes where is Diogu going to get minutes?  RR  11/24/05

Diogu does not have enough of a track record to really know what his value and role will be yet.  I can't say that one would have an advantage over the other at this point.  But seeing as Jefferson seems stuck in his reserve role, taking some risk with Diogu's upside potential is justified.  The Warriors may want to move Troy Murphy to center at times.  Since Mike Dunleavy has struggled some this season, he is a candidate to give minutes to Diogu.

I was offered what I think is an interesting trade this morning.  He wants Tracy McGrady and Baron Davis for Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest. This is an 8cat P-R-A-S-B-3s-FG%-FT% league. I’m currently in 2nd place as shown below.

As you can see, I’m struggling in FG% due to Davis and McGrady’s DNP’s are killing me.  This trade hurts me in the 3’s cat and I’m a little concerned with assists.  What do you think?  Mike  11/27/05

The trade almost seems too good to be true.  Artest has been giving similar numbers as McGrady and Kobe has been a top 10 player while Davis has been struggling.  Even if Davis improves (as he should) I like the trade since I sense McGrady's back will be chronic throughout the year.  Davis has had past issues with injuries as well.
