This league had a very early draft
relative to most fantasy drafts since it was done as part of the
content development for the Rotoworld.com Draft Guide. The
league drafted in August, 2009 whereas leagues commonly draft in
October, closer to the start of the NBA season.
This early draft date gave HoopsKLYCE.com an
advantage (I believe) since preparing my rankings is a year round
activity. Some of the other league members may have been
thinking about football and baseball more than basketball at the
time.
HoopsKLYCE ended up finishing with a very
comfortable margin of victory as shown below. I participated
in 3 Expert Leagues during the 2008-2009 season and finished first
in this one. I was in a 30 team league which, obviously, is a
very hard league to win. With this victory, my very high win rate
was supported.
