12/13/03 Notes Marcus Camby is coming off a 16 pt, 17 reb game and has so far been relatively healthy. Considering his past history now would be an ideal time to trade him away before his stops playing with some minor injury. Latrell Sprewell has averaged 26 points over his last five games. Those with Sprewell should monitor the status of Wally S and consider trading him before his return. Wally recently had an MRI on his foot however the results have not been published yet and a return date has not been established. Trenton Hassell has been averaging 30 mpg over the last five games however that is not quite enough for him to have much value. Over his last five games Chris Bosh is averaging 16 pts, 8.6 reb, and 1.4 bl in 38 mpg. He should maintain his value if he can withstand the 'rookie wall' that may come as he logs heavy minutes. Mike James has claimed the starting PG role for the Celtics. He is averaging 18 pts and 5 assists over the last five games while hitting 14 treys. Al Harrington played only 14 minutes due to a collision that injured his cheek bone. Over his last 5 games Dan Gadzuric has averaged 11 pts, 8 reb, and 3.2 bl making him worthy of a free agent pick up. Carlos Arroyo returned to play 16 minutes. Hopefully for his owners (who likely got him at a good price) he will not sprain his ankle again. Josh Howard had 17 pts and 13 reb starting for Michael Finley who had an injured toe and is listed as day to day. When Howard has been given playing time due to an injury to Nowitzki or Finley he has shown potential, http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?playerId=2006 Put Damon Jones, G, Mil on your watch list. He occasionly has big games like last night (22 pts, 9 ast, 2 st) however rookie TJ Ford remains the starter.
